I built the following system:
Asus P5ND2-SLI Deluxe (Newest BIOS Flash)
Intel 3.0GHz Dual Core
2x MSI NX6800
2x Seagate 80GB SATA Striped RAID
2x 1GB Kingston DDR2
480W Antec True Power PSThe PC will lock up for no apparent reason. Moving the mouse to the start button can lock the PC solid, requiring a reboot.
When I first built the system I ran 3DMark on it and the software ran flawlessly. I was usung a Monitor with a 4:3 dimension. I switched to a 16:9 monitor and now it locks up running 3D Mark as well.
Any suggestions where I might look for a solution.

Process of elimination.
Take the covers off & make sure all the fans run at speed, no slowing down or jerky spinning.
Remove all cards & replace 1 by 1.

I appreciate the cut and paste. But I was looking for a more seasoned response. I already know how to use Google. I was hoping for a response from someone who might have some RAID experience.
Every component in this system is of the highest quality and brand spanking new. The system is not overclocked or infected unless the XP disk itself carries a virus. It is a clean install of XP SP2.

This one actually made me laugh, yeah . . . I always keep extra NX6800 video cards laying around.
Anyone out there familiar with RAID technology? I set the block size to "optimal," if I lower it will that help? Also, if I change the block size will I have to reinstall the O/S?
