i'm having a weird one with XP on my laptop (compaq evo n410c). when i lock my computer (either ctrl+alt+del or windows+L) i sometimes don't get the login screen back up. happens overnight, come back, wriggle mouse to get out of screensaver, no login thing just the wallpaper.
sometimes happens when i ctrl+alt+del to switch to task manager too. is a pain, cos i have to power the laptop off, there's no way to get back in...
