The good old days of dos commands.... :-)

open a command prompt, go to c:\ (cd \)

run the command "attrib boot.ini" and you will see it.

Do the same for all the other files just use the switch /s to seach the sub's...

You could do a Search for 'Files and Folders' for each file. Search Results will show the file's Directory location.

In Search click All files and folders,
then click More Advanced Options,
then check mark the first 3 boxes in the list of where to Search.

EDIT For them to show in SEARCH, you will have to check mark "Show hidden files and folders", uncheck mark "Hide System files..",
in Folder Options View tab
