Locating Outlook Address book

Can someone please tell me how to find and make a copy of the Outlook express address book.Help will be appreciated.

I don't use Outlook so I can't help you there but you shouldn't post your email address in the open like that. The result can be a bot picking it up and you getting more spam.

outlook xpress to the best of my knowledge does not have its own address book. it is using the windows address book.

search your computer for *.wab

A bit confusing: the subject states "Outlook", but the post itself states "Outlook Express"... two entirely different animals.

Try Exporting the Address Book from within the program. That is likely a simpler and more secure method, and will also have an added benefit, i.e: ability to export and import in a CSV format. Many programs can import CSV files, like Excel and other spreadsheet/database programs.

As the others have mentioned Outlook Express uses the "Windows Address Book". This is usually named computeruser.wab. Try opening Windows Explorer and searching for all "*.wab" files. When ypu find them they can be copied like any other file.
