Hello gang,
Recently I have been asked by a friend to assist in getting sound from his computer. I noticed that his speakers were not being detected and quickly realized that he is missing audio drivers for his motherboard. I attempted to search for the drivers but it is VERY difficult because i'm guessing , that the manufacturer is outdated. Please any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Award is the maker of the BIOS. Used on half or more of all boards. That info is useless.
Try downloading SIW. Should be helpful in identifying the MBoard and/or sound chip.
