hi - i hope someone can help here.
I have just purchased an acer 1.6 centrino laptop with xp home installed, with which I have succesfully wireless networked my desktop and laptop.
now, i currently have a personal 'localhost' server running on my desktop pc (xp pro) that hosts my own test environment for my website. what i want to do is to access this website from my laptop. the desktop and laptop are wireless networked. both computers know that each other exists as i can browse shared files on both. internet work correctly on both too. currently i cannot (and really dont know how to) access, on my laptop, my local website that is hosted on the desktop.
would anyone be ale to point me in the right direction?! i am hoping that it is something to do with permissions etc wither with my IIS settings or my router.
i have a Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router with SpeedBooster WRT54GS router if that is any help
also i am having troble opening a ms access database across the network, kee getting disk or network error.
all help is appreciated and thanks in advance!
Mark

Im unsure as to the solution to your web problem, dont have the time at the moment to simulate it and come up with a solution sorry, but your access problem, try opening the database from WITHIN access not by accessing the file and opening it, this has worked for me in the past with Access, cause = unknown to me.
Hope this helpsOne word questions will always receive one word answers.
