Hi On my Computer the proper local Disk C icon is not there. Instead there is a white icon with a little window in it, the box you get when it can't find the icon. Any ideas on fixing this? Thanks.
Also. I have Internet Explorer 7. I had to re-install Windows XP as I had a problem. Now when I try to open Internet explorer it says 'The procedure entry point InternetGetSecurityInfoByURLW could not be located in the dynamic Link Libary WININET.dll. Any ideas on resolving this aswell. Thanks again.
Right-click on C: and go to properties, there should be a tab for icons in there.......you should be able to manually change it to the appropriate one.
In Windows Explorer or Control Panel, click Tools in the Menu bar, click Folder Options, click File Types, click to highlight the "Drive", Click "Advanced" button, then click "Change Icon..." button.
