Hi Recently I had some adware issues that I have resolved ( I think) with AdAware and Spybot. I still have some unusual minor quirks when online which I think are related. When I run msconfig, there is still an entry called dmsmj.exe that I cannot identify. I have Googled and searched archives of this site to no avail. Anyone know what this entry is for? Thanks in advance

If you cannot find a file listed on the net there is a good chance that it is not good. Get rid of it and any others that you can't identify.

you still have bots. this is one of the randomly generated files from a bot like nail.exe or one of the others. they are a paind in te a$$ to get rid of b/c the files they create are different each time. make sure you have show hidden files on and search your pc again. good luck, it can take a while to get rid of them and sometimes you end up creating a new profile and deleting your old one...sux but sometimes it is the best thing to do (or spend hours one trying to resolve it).
