Just built a fresh system...
Western Digital Caviar SE 160GB SATA Hard Drive
ASUS Motherboard
AMD Athlon 64 X2I have made SEVERAL attempts to install this version of windows. Then when I FINALLY succeeded in installing it. the following message came up....
Load needed DLLs for kernel.
I have already tried a solution posted on this website, but the same message occurs when I attempt to boot.
Please help I have been working on this for days.

Pretty generic message there.
Does your WinXP install CD have at least SP1 integrated into the CD? If not, you will have problems with that 160GB hard drive.
Original WinXP didn't support hard drives larger than 127/37GB. Solution is to slipstream a service pack into your CD. Best to also slipstream the SATA drivers too. That way you can set the BIOS to run the hard drive as a SATA device.

All it takes is a little initiative. :)
I Googled that error. Some hits (Including a couple from this site.)

Well I ended up successfully reinstalling XP. I no longer get that error, I actually get nothing now....
After it asks me to boot from CD (which I skip) it goes to a blank screen... and nothing happens :(
