Hi all
Ive just formatted and loaded windows xp on my compaq evo n610c laptop. Had a few drivers missing so downloaded them from the compaq site yet everything i double click on the exe file it comes up with a 'loadlanguage failed' error message. Ive tried different files but it would load none of them, included office 2000 etc. It just seems not to accept ant execute files at all. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

I had a Compaq for a while and had all kind of problems with it. Finally I had to get a full copy of Windows XP and run a debug script on my HD and reload winxp from the full copy. Compaq has a way of causing problems when it come to trying to load any other programs on there system. I hope this helps you in your endevors.
