I can't join any games. It just waits and times out and says Connection Error. Then I was reading on some site, it said I needed to put my computer on DMZ so I did and still doesnt work. It is the Linksys 10/100 Cable modem Router. Anyone know what is going on ?

You would only need to be set on the DMZ (de-militarized zome) if you are the one that is hosting games. If you did not want all ports open, which is what being on the DMZ does, then you would have to set up filters through the router.

In any event, if you cannot connect to a friend that is hosting a game, have them set themselves on the DMZ through their router (if they have one). If you are connecting to the manufacturer's game server, contact the manufacturer with how to access the server.

If the above does not solve the issue for you, I would test the connectivity I had with the party hosting the game server through trace route, pathping, etc.

Good luck.
