Hello all, i have Internet explorer 6.

In www.ebay.co.uk where it says about Skype, i cannot open any of those links.
Open most of the other, sides and under.

I have tried matching my Sisters settings in Security and advanced with my own, still will not open. And pop ups etc.
Active x settings are the same as far as i know as her machine, she can get the links open ok.

This may be a problem, two things (1) No I.E. showing in Add & Remove, as on my old 98se I.e. 5.5 machine.

And with all the new protection programs like ewido, cookie cleaner a-squared etc, one of them might have taken away a dll or whatever, i might have done it when i did a Hijack this fix.

So needed to see if a Fix of I.E through Add & Remove would work.

Any ideas on the above?

Thanks, GEP

Try to repair IE by using add/remove programs, add/remove Windows components, which is on the left hand side. HTH
