lines in picture....help out

Well i had a Nvidia tnt2 and it showed lines off of darker colors. I thought it was my monitor but i figured out it was my video card. And i heard that tnt2 have problems heating up so i just bought a new radeon 9600 SE and well the lines are their but not as badly? I am wondering does anyone know wht the problem is . Is it my mother bored or did the radeon some how go bad too?

let me fix that alll the lines are still their , but their lighter. They are less prodominent but i fear they coul get worse...d

Are you sure you're not just getting interference from some other thing, like a second monitor next to that one? Have you tried it in another room of your house? svg
