I have several none functional computers that have XP Pro license stickers. Is there a way to transfer these licenses to other machines?
Not legally, the license on OEM computers is limited to that motherboard.
I have to agree with Othehill 100%. The transfer of OEM COA sticker is prohibited per M$ EULA. i_Xp/VistaUser
exactly right! To do so would be to commit piracy and the cyber police will be on your doorstep trying to sue you or have you arrested!
No not remove and reuse the sticker. You may replace any broken or worn parts and use the sticker ...so do this.
1.Remove the bad motherboard
2. Remove the bad hard drive
3. Remove those bad cdroms
4.Remove those bad cards
5. Remove bad power supply
6 OH Fritters the case is damaged.
Replace the case with a good one
