LEXMARK Z517 DELL Installation

I have installed the z517 software and drivers but device manager has the printer listed as z600 which means they wont communicate. The windows test page tells me that i have the wrong driver installed. any ideas ?>

Uninstall the software and remove the printer from your list. Disconnect the printer. Restart the machine, then Reinsert the CD and run setup from scratch. Soylent Green is PEOPLE!!!

Locate drivers from Lexmark website, then download, then try this-- Start, Printers and Faxes, right click Printer icon, then Properties, Advanced tab, New Driver button, then Next> button in Wizard, then Have Disk... button, then point XP to the driver.
