Jump Drive originally was installed on my pc / Window 98SE and installed Window 98 driver from website ...Recently upgraded to XP. Cannot access Jump drive to download backup data...Error codes says; Jump drive can only be access with Windows 98... Need help please!!

I'd see what it does with a linux cd. Try Knoppix or Vector live Cd and see what it does then. I guess it could be a fat32 sector size deal.

Can you boot in safe mode go to control panel undo your XP upgrade,save your information once your back to win98 ,and then upgrade again?Then reformat your jump drive with winxp?Win xp upgrade gives you an option to install as FAT32 format.You probably used NTFS format in upgrade.
