You didn't list any system specs, the size of the HDD, how it's partitioned, how much space is available, whether you manually changed the virtual memory settings or are using the default Windows settings, etc. It could be you have too much RAM installed. Are you running 4GB or more?

"virtual memory too low" - from my own experiance this is usually an indication that your overloading the PC. Your RAM is full and the virtual RAM file on the hard disk is now full.

To increase the virtual RAM file, right click on "My Computer", click properties.
Click on the "Advanced" tab, click on "Settings" under Performance.

Go to the advanced tab, and under virtual memory you can see and change the size of the virtual RAM.

I have "System managed size" selected, as I have had no issues with that. Don't set the value too low or too high as both ends of the extreme can cause problems.

This is also a sign of malware gobbling up the system.
