Legacy Audio Driver

How can I disable the Legacy Audio Driver that is located in Device Mgr. under Sound, Video and Game Controllers?
Properties doesn't allow for disabling this device.

If you audio is integrated into the motherboard disable the onboard audio in the BIOS.

Danee, the audio is not integrated into the motherboard. The drivers that I want to disable are the legacy audio drivers that XP installs. So far, I have not found a method to disable.
