Laptop won't start

My friend's laptop won't start up after she tried to install a computer game (Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion). It will load up the windows OS but then will display a menu that gives us the options of going into safe mode, loading last configuration or starting windows normally. When we select any of the options, it will reboot and go through the whole process again. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Life is but a dream ...
