Laptop wont start

My laptop allows me to log in then immediately comes out .Have tried in safe mode any suggestions? Appear not have installation disc

If you have a image partition on your hard drive, you can possibly do a restore from it. Check the laptop manufacturer's web site.

Thanks for that . I cannot access any part of the recovery console as everything logs out straiaght away

To recover from the image on the hard drive, there is usually a key sequence to hit during the boot process. This should bring up the recovery program. The key(s) to hit differ between manufacturers, so you will have to reference the manufacturer's web site..
