Hey you guys, my alienware laptop was on for about 10 minutes, it was working fine like always until i heard some slight popping. The laptop proceeded to cut off and will now not cut back on...it is NOT the screen but the LED light comes on flashes then goes back off...thats it, if i constantly press the power button it sometimes starts flashing but thats about it. There is no noises or motions or anything other than just the light. I will probably have to take it to a shop if u cant help me fix it at least tell me about how much it could cost me to fix it please

try taking the battery out and plug it into the mains and then switch on. unplug any hardware you can, i.e. optical drives if they're removable. if it's still under warranty just take it back as you may void your warranty going any further.
