(Cannot Find Ntldr)

If i attempt to run windows from any option from the boot screen is gives me this error

it is corrupt, absent, or not writeable.

1. Are you sure you've set it to boot from CD? (missing ntldr is more associated with hard & floppy drives). If you are, are you sure the CD drive and the install CD are both good?

2. Second issue is a corrupted registry file (may be corrupt filestore or file). To fix this, first approach I'd take would be to run chkdsk (but need to be able to boot from CD to get into recovery console, or run something like Bart's PE). Second approach is to restore the problem file from backup - which again need to boot from CD. Unless you have an adapter to allow you to connect drive to normal PC.

"If you are, are you sure the CD drive and the install CD are both good?" ...........This is what i was wondering about. It seems like a good guess that the cd drive may be bad.

These errors are caused by booting from a hard drive, NOT a CD.

You are NOT booting from any XP install CD, if you were, you would not see these errors. Check the boot order in the BISO setup.
