Hey everyone, I need some help. I have a pretty new Topshiba laptop. The computers runs great and I am very pleased with it. Recently the laptop has been randomly turning off. It doesnt go through shut down or anything, it just turns off. The battery is new, and it says it is fully charged. I aslo checked under Power settings, and nothing is set to turn off. This is very annoying. The laptop turns off every once in a while. One day it happened 4 times, then it didnt happen for a whole month or two. Does anyone have any ideas?

Start with the basics:
Check your coputer for Viruses
Check your computer for spyware
Check your event logs
Check those three things and post anything you find. That can give everyone a better idea of what is going on.

Maybe check to see if the fan is running...I'm not sure on Toshiba, but I know Dell had alot of fan problems causing their laptops to overheat and shut down. Running it overheating will eventually fry your motherboard.
