Comment:

I have a laptop that will not play audio.
I'm trying to help someone solve this issue over the phone so from what I've been told the following is the case: The PC is not muted in anyway either by windows or audio players. The mute button on the keyboard are not set to mute. All audio drivers have been checked and appear to be installed and working properly. Sounds in different programs have been tested, sound visually appears to be playing yet no sound is coming from the speakers. User informed me that problem appeared when yahoo musicmatch was uninstalled. The PC was rebooted after uninstall. Any other avenues to check that I have not mentioned?

Thanks...
