My laptop is about 2 years and 3 months old. In the past 6 or 7 months, it will randomly shut down occasionally, and all unsaved work will be lost. Usually this happens when it's running a program with Flash, or if there are many programs running. The fan will also come on really really loud. Could it be a hardware problem or a fan problem or a combination of both?? My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite A25. If anyone has any advice, please let me know!

its most likely overheating, i had the same problem with a compaq notebook, i just took a vacuum and cleaned the vents and fans, or if u wanna open it up, use a can of air to blow the dust out

They make accessories for having laptops in a raised position, at fan area, for to have room for hot air to exhaust.

How would I go about vacuuming the vents and fans? Would I have to take anything apart or can I just unplug my laptop and use a regular household vacuum cleaner attachment to suck up the dirt from the outside? Thanks!

use your nomrmla vacuum cleaner, or u can open it up if u know what your doing and blow it out with a can of air
