hi, my laptop keeps restarting by itself at complete random. i tried to disable the restart from My Computer, Properties, Advanced tab. but even though it just restarts and there is no error message. there is no blue screen either! i thought it might be spyware or virus related, so i scanned with ad-aware(fully updated) and spybot search and destory(fully updated)and it came up with nothing i also scanned in safe mode and it comes up with nothing. i did an online scan at Kaspersky http://kaspersky.com/kos/english/kavwebscan.html ...and it found nothing! my laptop is a NEC VERSA M540. thanks for your help guys!
