Laptop keeps freezing

Fujitsu Siemens

Specs: Windows XP Pro SP2, 512

My laptop recently froze and after rebooting it came up with a corrupted boot message which I've now fixed using Windows Recovery.

However, it now constantly freezes after a few minutes. I can't complete an anti-virus or anti-spyware scan, nor can I perform a system restore. I was able to perform a disk check which was ok.

It is a decent spec Fujitsu Siemens, 512MB RAM, 120GB HDD etc.

Any ideas??

Thanks
