Specs: Windows xp
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have Toshiba laptop and use windows XP home edition

I downloaded a torrent. When tried to watch mistakenly clicked on "download now" menu

immediately screen blue then black

Now laptop is boot screen. It shows..

"We apologize...............................................................................
................................................................................................
..................................................................................................
......................................................................................................

safe mode
safe mode with networking
safe mode with command prompt"

Now, I tried to start computer in safe mode and normally as well. Every time when I try to start computer (either normally or in safe mode)

On whole screen following line appears
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1) window\system32\driver\pciide.exe
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1) window\system32\driver\disk.sys
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1) window\system32\driver\(EVERY TIME DIFFERENT FILE NAME APPEARS)

. And, boot screen appears again. I did not change any software or hardware
.
Please help me to start my machine

Thanks in advance

Enter the bios and make sure that hard drive is selected to boot first. Did you scan the torrent download for a virus/trojan/worm?
