Hi, I have Acer travelmate 660 for less than 2years...My problem come when I didnt use my laptop for about 2weeks..now when i turn on my laptop and the battery charged up to 100% then when I unplug the AC power..My laptop turned off like it was no battery installed..
I try to turn it on without AC power plugged in but it wont work..
What happen to my battery? Is it ruined? (even when it is less than 2 years?)
When a laptop battery ruined will it still show the charging icon and the % ?

I would come to a different conclusion.
Your battery is good. Your laptop is not. Its ability to use battery is shot.
And/or your power config for when on battery is wacked
Might want to contact Acer and see what your options are.
