Somehow, my system's language is now French, but only in support pages. For example, when I go into my HP Printers Properties, all the options are in French. I have checked the default language in the control panel and it is set to English (United States) which is where it should be. I have gotten no help from HP. Simply its a microsoft issue and no help there either. I realize there is probably a simple setting somewhee, but I just cannot find it. This problem has consumed more than 3 weeks and it is getting frustrating.

go to Control Panel, click on Regional and Language Option, under Standards and formats, make sure it is English and then click on the advanced tab, under language for non-unicode programs, make sure you select English as well. If it doesn't work, maybe it's the language of the driver for your printer. if that helps, please reply
