Hi
I use a Dell Desktop with 2.53GHzCPU and 512MB RAM running on WinXP SP2 fully updated and protected.A couple of days ago I inadvertently checked the Language Bar in the Toolbar menu for my taskbar. I unchecked it a short while later but it refuses to go away. Every time I start up, it shows up again in the taskbar even though I make sure that this option is unchecked before I shut down. After start-up, it's always checked.
Who or what is checking it?I have looked in the start-up section of MSCONFIG and in Start>Programs>Start-Up and there's nothing there relevant to this problem.
Also it seems that this unwelcome visitor is adding around 15 seconds to my boot time (OK, it's not a disaster but still....)
Has anybody got any idea how to get rid of this nuisance?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Paul
