I recently installed Win XP and the Lan Card (Netgear FA310TX) is not working. The weird thing is it has worked all the time in win 2000 and it has worked sometimes in Win XP. There are no instructions in the manual to put it in a bus mastering PCI slot but I have done so anyway. The lights at the back turn on.

However it seems to be working at the very beginning during boot up, because AIM can get to the buddy list and stuff at the *very* beginning. (It can't load the "start" web page)

Sometimes seemingly randomly, on some boot ups, it works, but right now it's not working even during lots of consecutive boots.

Could this be a bad cable problem or something?

What's wrong?
