I have a p4 1.8Ghz with 256 DDR and my internet is on a wireless router and i have a wireless network card, when i play games in single player (without internet) i can play as much as i want but when it comes to playing on internet games my time is limited. I explain myslef, when i join an internet game i can play like maximum 20 mins and after i have this humongus Lag and it f---s up my comp so i have to restart manually. So i have to know if it's my network that does that or my computer and if possible help me with resolving it.

Is it one of those games that has single/multiplayer mode? Or are you playing an online game, like java/shockwave game?
Have you tested it on other games?
Maybe that's how your internet connection is...but you don't notice it in single player mode since you're not playing online.
If you are connected to a game host and there are other users connected, it could be that the other users are lagging, which slows down your computer as well.
how does it mess up your computer?

Well i only play Counter-Strike, Day of Defeat, Diablo 2 Exp, Jedi Knight 2, and Quake 3 u know those kinda games...
Well u know before i put my cable internet on the wireless network, i had the cable directly connected to my comp and it never did what it does now...
Well lets say i'm playing Counter-Strike, i connect myself on a server. i get connected and i start playing. Then it depends on the time but my comp just either has a HUMONGUS LAG or it just freezes there.
