Know of any Software Update service

Sometime ago, CNET had a software scan and update service called Catchup, which basically scanned your PC's software and came up with a listing of suggested software updates. This is no longer available. Does anyone know of other sites that offer a similar service? Any assistance would be much appreciated.
m a y b e www.webattack.com has something, but not really sure. The CATCHUP has a deal whereby you sign up for a newsletter and then get the notices like that, so it could work OK.
