TASKILL is only in XP Pro ---
http://www.microsoft.com/resources/...
WinXP Pro--Product Documentation--TASKILLI guess the way I would do that would using the Process ID, or PID.
Set Task Manager to show the PID column --
In TM, click View in the Menu Bar,
then click "Select Columns",
then check mark the box for PID.
NOTE --- PID number may not be the same for every startup of the computer.Knowing the PID, you would open the Command Prompt, then type for example,
taskkill /pid 1230
--------------
I do not have XP Pro,
and do not know why anyone would end services.exe

actualy i wanted to stop the automatic firewall which is always running without my permission so i have turnd it of by gpedit.msc still thanks.
