This system has run flawless for well over a year. Went to boot up and came to the login screen and the password box is being filled with what appears to be a stuck keyboard key. After much trouble shooting I have unplug the keyboard & reboot several more times and still have the problem. With the keyboard unplugged how to solve a stuck key problem? What could be causing this when the keyboard is unplugged?

You can try to reinstall the keyboard drive. Open the device manager and find the keyboard line. Click on the plus sign to expand it. Right click on the Keyboard, Properties line and click on uninstall the driver. On reboot microsoft will reinstall it automatically
