Keys Not Working

Specs: Windows XP, 633 / 512mb
Hi...I have a couple probably with keys not working at all on my keyboard...at first different keys were coming up for different keys...found out I had a virus infecting the system...so restored computer to factory settings...ran another virus scan in safe mode with Avast Anti-virus program which showed no viruses...now I still have somewhat of a problem--but not as bad-- with two keyboards that weren't a problem before...one with the "f" key and with the other a lot of the top letters...these keyboards weren't giving me these problems before...could it still be somewhat infected..or is more likely both keyboards went bad.

Thanks in advanced for any response.

netsurfer802, when you did the cleaning scan, did you disable 'restore'? If not, my guess is that the nasty got put back. Several faulty KBs isn't impossible, just doubtful IMHO.

Sorry but what's a KB or IMHO? As far as I know I didn't disable restore.
