Since recently,I am having a problem with certain key-strokes.Suddenly,when I Have the Caps lock on,then a letter got highlighted
and the Caps lock gets reversed, meaning Caps locks on is now Caps lock off and then some letters are skipped. This happened quite often. Also when that happens, the shift-key does not function with the Exclamation mark.Any ideas guys?
Thank you very much in advance.
Matthew.

Hi Matt,
Is the computer still under warranty? If so give Tech Support a call.
Check in the Device Manager and see if there is a problem with the driver. Also see if there is an updated driver.
If possible, try another keyboard and see if you get the same results. I had problems with keyboards because of contact points getting worn out and breaks in cables also.
good luck,
XDon

Hi Matt,
I forgot to mention running SFC/scannow from the Command Prompt to check for a corrupted file.
And also you can try to System Restore to a day before the keyboard problem started.
Been a long day and getting old,
XDon
