Sorry if this isn't the right forum to post this in, but I really need help. :( For some reason, my keyboard is acting weird. It feels like the Ctrl button is held down because everytime I press a key on the keyboard, for example "S" the Save As window pops up instead of the letter S, and if I press "O" the Open window pops up instead of the letter O. Same thing with the key "N" etc......

I can't even go online anymore with that computer since I can't type the password. THe only keys that still work are the "Enter" and the "Delete" key. I have tried another keyboard and then restarting it a zillion times. No luck. I then went to the Control Panel and it doesn't seem like there is a problem.

I get these keyboard problem sometimes but it goes back to normal everytime I restart it, but not this time. Freaky..... Any help please???????? I don't want to reinstall Windows. :(

Thanks for your help. :)

I used Norton AntiVirus to scan it, and found no virus, but of course, my DAT file is about 1 month not up-to-date. I can't do an online scan because I can't go online since I can not type my password whatsoever. Stupid keyboard >: I'm using another computer right now if you're wondering how I'm online right now.

I don't get what you meant about problems with the Device Manager though. Aren't keyboard plug and play?

You've probably already tried this but under do this: control panel > Accessibility Options > Keyboards then configure your 'Stickykeys'.
