My wifes Computer just crashed. It locked up while she was surfing the net. I had to shut down the power strip to reboot the computer. on reboot, the comuter went to the select restart option safe mode etc. use up and down arrow to select. I have no keyboard responce. after 30 second the system starts to enter windows then reboots. I entered cmos to change first boot device to c-drom but when it gets to boot from cdrom press any key again no responce from key board. I Have changed the keyboard with same effect. now I cannot even access cmos. I am at a loss. Could this be a bios problem, Or do i have to replace the motherboard? any help would be appreciated. Thanks

If the keyboards are USB then USB legusy support needs to be enabled in the BIOS. You may not have ever noticed this because the computers booted correctly into Windows without KB intervention. Try clearing the CMOS by using the onboard jumper or by removing the battery for a bit. Perform either of these operations while the computer is unplugged from the wall.
