Keyboard not working

Hi i have a weird problem if i plug in my keyboard all the lights (num lock,cap locks,scroll lock)blink at the same time and it doesn't work my motherboard is asrock k7vm3

Well there could be a problem with your keyboard only i.e circuit problem try borrowing a friend's keyboard and check if it works fine i suggest u change your keybrd post if the problem persists

I hope you are plugging/unplugging the keyboard with power on. That's a NONO and could have caused some damage.

If u try and plug in a keyboard while the pc is switch on tht is a major benifactor and will propably not help at all, um i recemend just switch off your system and then plugging in your keyboard, if not then try a new keyboard WHILE YOUR SYSTEM IS SWITCHED OFF!!!

Could also be a port problem...if usb try Ps2 and vice versa. usuall sign of "dead" keyboard though. try another for sure...
