Hi: I have HP pavilion XT963 with Windows XP Home. I use Internet Explorer and Outlook express. Everything has been working fine for the last two years, but now when I Try to use the "Connect" key or "e-mail" keys, I get an instant (The page cannot be displayed) window. All seven internet keys do the same thing, regardless what I have programed in. All of the other special function keys work OK, only the internet keys don't. I can click on Outlook express or Internet Explorer, on my desk top and they work fine. I tried downloading the keyboard driver from HP. I tried running the partition-based System Recovery Program in the non-destructive mode, but that didn't cure the problem. Anybody out there know how to correct this? Thanks. Charlie

If you have indeed done what you said above, check msconfig for multifunction keyboard entry or anything related to that and make sure it is enabled, also try reprogramming the functions again and reseat the kbd if it does not work then it certainly means you needs another kbd
