Recently, my keyboard has been losing keys. First time I noticed it was when my "J" key stopped working. I thought something was wrong with the keyboard so I got another one, and the key still didn't work. So I uninstalled the driver and then reinstalled it after a reboot. After that everything worked right for a while but it seems that at random times certain keys will stop working. It seems that my escape, J, 0 and 1 keys are effected the most though I cannot figure out a reason for this.
Currently the only way I can fix it is to uninstall and reinstall the keyboard driver (standard microsoft ps2) and then reboot. However, this is happens frequently enough to be a real problem and I can't figure out what the problem might be.
Also, according to Housecall virus scanner I am virus free. I have also scanned my computer with Norton Windoctor with no change.
