Just done a full reinstall and now when i type the @ sign on my keyboard it appears to have swapped places with the speech mark above the number two. I am assuming that it is now in American. Is there anything I can do please? cheers. By the way does anyone know if spybot conflicts with norton internet security 2003 bcos every time i immunize my system with it after installing it, norton disables and wont enable until its gone. And the same for adaware ta very much

On the keyboard question go to Control Panel, Regional And Language Options, select the Languages tab and then the Details button - you should see your current keyboard settings there. Select English (United Kingdom) as the "Default Input Language" and OK it.

As for Norton, don't use it so can't help.

I had Norton's 2003 installed on a Win98se machine and ran both Adaware and SpyBot S&D using it's immunization and never had any problems. Sorry I can't suggest a solution.
