I just got back from Europe and I brought back a cd that has been copy protected with key2audio, what it does is it cannot read the disk it just hangs and sometimes crashes my system, I have a hitachi dvd rom and after upgrading the firmware it read the cd with no probs now I can copy the disk very easy, my problem is on my other computer I have a 52x cdrom mats---a I have upgraded the firmware to the latest but it still cannot read the disk is there a program or another way to read these disks?

Older cd drives can usually ignore the copy protection. Can't remember which type of copy protection, but one of them you can get past by putting tape over part of the cd, or using permanent marker.
