I get the following error message when i try to run the install file of TweakUI Powertoy:
"Cannot locate entrypoint GetDllDirectoryW in Kernel32.dll"
Can anyone help me? I already installed files from Windows Update, but it still doesn't work.

It's saying it cannot register windows kernel .dll to install, a necesarry file. Did you download the correct version of Tweak UI? Also do a search for Kernel32.dll and make sure you have it. If still will not work, re-download Tweak UI (and make sure your downloading it for XP.)

I downloaded the right version of Tweak UI (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp) and search for Kernel32.dll and it is located at c:/windows/system32/
But the problem is still there.
Isn't there maybe an error in the Kernel32.dll file which i can solve by downloading a right kernel32.dll file?

I have the same problem, it's the correct version of TweakUI and I have the kernel32.dll But i get the same error when i try to install.
Application popup: TweakUiPowertoySetup.exe - Entry Point Not Found : The procedure entry point GetDllDirectoryW could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll.
that's what the log says.
i've also downloaded another version of that dll, but the file sizes were different so i didn't switch them.

Microsoft released a new version (2.10.0.0) of tweakui, and this new version only works with Windows XP Service Pack 1 and Windows 2003 Server. If you don't have SP1 and don't want to install it, you'll have to find an older version of tweakui. You should be able to get it here: http://www.webattack.com/download/dltweakuixp.shtml
