Kernel data inpage error

hi I am having a problem because every so often, (usually when im doing something important), i get a blue screen appear with the title kernel_data_inpage_error. I have been looking on google etc but can't find a solution to this problem that I can actually understand. I don't really understand much computer speak so would anyone be able to offer a solution to this without being too technical? Thanks in advance Rich

Maybe look here- KNOWLEDGE BASE LINKS STOP MESSAGES helps to know the last numbers of the Cx number. e.g Cx8A

Looks like a problem of getting data from the Paging file. RAM, Virtual Memory, Pagefile and all that stuff Maybe a bad sector on the harddrive ?? Try this- How to Perform Disk Error Checking in Windows XP Check mark both items under "Check Disk Options", on your way into starting Error-Checking Tool.
