When my computer running sometimes it makes clicking noise, sound like base unit fan goes on n off, then the moniter screen goes blue and i get this massage.. A problem detected... windows shutdown to prevent damgae. kernel_data_inpage_error It suggest uninstalled any new hardware or software and disable bios memory. done all that but no luck. Technical infomation; * stop:0x00000078 (0xc03e1890,0xc000000e,0xf8624130, 0x1d230860) *atapi.sys - address f8624130 base at f8613000, datetamp 41107b4d. begining dump of physical memory. physical memory dump complete. contact system manager.. then i have to push restart button to restart computer.Computer will start again fine but anytime it will do the samething again without any warning. Look here, but I would suspect a failing hard drive as you are hearing clicking noises. hi there suhail, i'm having the exact same problem as you. i have been having blue screens for a while now, with different error messages, but more recently i have noticed the clicking sound. my laptop is pretty new, got it around 3 months ago, but it was getting blue screens a few weeks after i got it. then the problem went away... but it's back now! have u found any solutions yet? i've been doing google searches but havent come up with anything yet. if anyone else has some suggestions, please help!!!!!!
