keeps restarting at boot

hi this is the second time this has happened for some reason my windows xp restarted and than it wouldnt stop restarting it asks me to put on safe mode , normal mode , or last known.... mode. i did wht what i can do i did system recovery which came with my computer but i dont want to do this every time it happens . is there any other way way to stop this? thanx
but i dont know how to just install windows xp . there is no seperate cd for it

are you the "guy in need"? Don't just change your name! what do you mean there is no seperate cd?
Obviousley there is an IDE-driver prob or something like that comming from your OEM cd-rom. Copy winxp from someone. Dont buy it!!! .. or just email me.
