Keeping the network drive alive

Hi. I've mapped a network drive (let's say as Q). I need to keep this Q-drive alive indefinitely. But, I noticed after 15 hours or more, it's disconnected automatically (shows up with red x indicator). If I click on it, the drive come alive.
Sometimes, the Q-drive is idle for long period of time and maybe this cause the connection to disconnect. Maybe this is a "feature" but how can I keep this drive alive automatically indefinitely. Is there a setting I can configure?

There are time limits on some things, and I can't remember if this setting can be changed within the local group policy or not (gpedit.msc). Otherwise you might try to create a simple batch file that looks at a file on the "Q" drive, then use the Scheduler on your system to have it run in the background every few minutes (whatever time limit it is right before the drive will disconnect). Not a whole lot of help, but maybe this will get you on the right path. Oh, and I think Microsoft has some stuff documented about this on their Knowledge Base, so you might visit there and poke around some....
